Jennifer Bandhan

Physiotherapist

Jennifer's passion for Physiotherapy began the first time she stepped into a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic as a young athlete with a knee injury. Growing up she participated in any sport she could. From volleyball to basketball to soccer, skating, swimming and distance running, Jennifer was super active and benefited from the services of various rehabilitation professionals and team trainers to keep her active and able to participate. Jennifer played varsity water polo during her time at York University where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

She went on to attend the University of Toronto where she studied to become a Registered Physiotherapist and met her husband Cris. Jennifer is passionate about keeping people active and able to participate in the daily activities that are meaningful to them. Her treatment revolves around empowering patients and equipping them with the information needed to help injuries heal and to prevent recurrence. During assessments, Jennifer gets to the root cause of pain and injury by identifying the specific structure(s) at fault and creates a treatment plan tailored to restoring balance and regaining strength, mobility and function. Jennifer has additional training in Concussion management and is also rostered with the College of Physiotherapists to perform Acupuncture.

In her spare time, Jennifer can be found doing anything and everything outdoors, particularly hiking on one of the many beautiful trails in Barrie with her husband, son and two dogs.
